Reddit users were asked which horror film left them reeling for days
Even the most hard-core horror fans have films that have affected them. For me, it was the original 2022 version of Speak No Evil, directed by Christian Tafdrup.
I went to the reddit forum r/horror and asked other horror fans what films had affected them.
For a lot of redditors, this films was Eden Lake.

Another film that left redditors dead inside was 2017s Mother! directed by Darren Aronofsky.

For one user, it was the 2000 psychological thriller Requiem for a Dream, directed by Darren Aronofsky.

2007s The Mist, directed by Frank Darabont, left one user dead inside.

2014s The Taking of Deborah Logan directed by Adan Robitel, was an especially hard watch for one user as it hit close to home.

One user shared their experience with disturbing horrors in general.

The 2010 horror A Serbian Film directed by Srdjan Spaspjevic is very controversial. One user shared their thoughts.

With a lot of these films, there are scenes that won’t leave our mind. For one user, this was 2017s Terrified directed by Demian Rugna.

Other users were left shaken by more recent films like 2022s Smile, directed by Parker Finn.

Some users were left scarred by classics such as 2008s Lake Mungo, directed by Joel Anderson.

It seems like even the bravest horror buffs have their limits!
